Philip Isaac Rosen was born on January 28th, 1952, in Middletown, NY, and died on June 9th, 2023, at his home in York Haven, PA. Philip’s birth was a welcomed addition to his family – parents Nathan and Vivien (both deceased) and brother Robert. Philip loved to make others laugh, even as a child, and always had a joke to share. He was a wonderful friend and family member. Philip had music in his soul and proudly performed as the lead singer of Rosey and the Naturals. Philip found his true love when he married Dennise, with whom he shared an adventure-filled journey as they traveled extensively over the last 20 years. Philip’s life was not without struggles; he overcame addiction and celebrated several decades of sobriety. Philip was loved by his many friends and family members, including his brother Bob, sister-in-law Midge, and their children, spouses, and grandchildren. Phil also leaves behind step-sons Austin Srebroski, Andrew Srebroski III, Andrew’s wife, Lisa, and children, Weslie and Andrew IV. Philip had a profound impact on all our lives and will be missed.

After graduating from Franklin and Marshall College, Phil continued his career with Sysco Foods; his sales ability was an asset to the company. His love of fine food was his passion. He shared his talents at many family meals.

Phil was the lead singer of his band, Rosey and the Naturals. He gathered quite a following in the Harrisburg and Camp Hill areas. Rosey and the Naturals also opened for some named bands, such as Johnny Winters. Phil loved singing the Blues. While living in Arizona, Phil was an active member of Harmony on the Rocks – Mixed Voice Barbershop Chorus in Sedona, AZ—many fond memories of Harmon on the Rocks and their yearly performances.

To accommodate his many friends and family, the family plans a virtual Celebration of Life for Phil in July 2023. Follow the Rosey and the Naturals Facebook page for details.

Best Friends Animal Society of Utah and The World Kitchen are Phil’s two favorite charities. Instead of flowers, please donate in his honor to one of his charities or a charity of your choice.
